Using the Design process to 3D Model in Sketchup for Schools LIMITED
Feedback form is now closed.
Limited Capacity seats available

“SketchUp users are architects, designers, builders, makers and engineers. They are the people who shape the physical world” (The SketchUp Story).

In this workshop, we will look at how the design cycle is used to investigate an architectural problem, brainstorm solutions, and create a 3d model in SketchUp for Schools. The majority of the workshop will be spent learning and playing with Sketchup.

Participants will gain the following from attending the session:
- Understanding how the design cycle can be used to solve a problem
- 3D modelling a basic building design in Sketchup and adding materials and components
- Using accurate dimensions to calculate square footage
- Exporting finished design concepts

Please bring:
1. Laptop
2. Sketchup for Schools app (using your school Google account - ask your IT Dept if unsure on how to add)
3. If you have a 3 button mouse (I"ll have some for participants to borrow too.)
