Limited Capacity filling up
Beginning in Grade 3, I teach students the basic principles of JavaScript coding using various block-based programming software. Today, we will use the BBC micro:bit and Ink Smith’s, K8 robot, to build a program in MakeCode. Each program will guide the robots to follow a path that we will draw in the session.

You will gain the following from attending this workshop:
An introduction to problem-solving using computational thinking
The basic principals of JavaScript coding
Strategies to make use of the BBC micro:bit in elementary classrooms
A hands-on opportunity to work with robotics.

Please Bring - A laptop with wifi access, or a tablet with the micro:bit app, MakeCode installed.
